Steven L. Shields
Steven L. Shields is a full-time minister for the Community of Christ, currently assigned to the church's
Asia Mission Field. He was born in Utah, and while living there developed an interest in the diverse expressions
of the Latter Day Saint faith.
Shields founded a publishing house and is himself the author of over fifty
articles and books dealing with church history and theology, including
Divergent Paths of the Restoration.
He has been active in the John Whitmer Historical Association and the Mormon History Association for many years.
